About Dr. Arvind
Dr. Arvind is a highly skilled urologist with extensive experience delivering comprehensive urological care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is proficient in performing a full range of endoscopic, open, and laparoscopic urological surgeries across affiliated hospitals, and is also trained in advanced techniques such as robotic-assisted procedures and transperineal fusion biopsies.
As an integral member of the robotic surgery team at UPM Hospital, Dr. Arvind regularly performs surgeries for prostate and kidney conditions. He also contributes significantly to the reconstructive urology team at Serdang Hospital, where he manages complex cases such as urethroplasty and penile reconstruction.
Dr. Arvind actively participates in multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions, collaborating with various specialties to develop holistic treatment plans for urological patients. He is responsible for the day-to-day clinical supervision of patients in the urology ward, working closely with a coordinated team of medical officers, nurses, allied health professionals, and paramedics.
In addition, he is experienced in managing urological emergencies and regularly accepts referrals from nearby hospitals. His hands-on experience across multiple healthcare settings has given him a comprehensive understanding of the Malaysian healthcare system, further enhancing his ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
